The church isn’t a building—it’s people.
In the Bible, the word “church” simply means “called out.” It’s talking about people who belong to Jesus and are trying to follow Him. That means the church isn’t something you go to; it’s something you’re part of.
The Bible describes the church as a family, a body, and a kingdom. A family—because we belong to one another. A body—because we each have a role. A kingdom—because Jesus is our King.
So when you hear the word “church,” don’t just think about a place you sit for an hour. Think about people who are living for God together every day.
That’s the church.
