Benjamin Lee

Benjamin Lee has been preaching the gospel since 2009. After working for several years for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Benjamin decided to devote his life to preaching the gospel. He and his wife Nikki moved to Beaumont Texas in July 2009, where he began working in the “evangelist-in-training” program under the instruction of the elders and evangelists at Dowlen Road. He began the work of a full-time evangelist with Dowlen Road in July 2011-February 2018.

Benjamin began working with the West Main Church of Christ on March 1, 2018.  He and his wife, Nikki, have a son named Joshua. Benjamin is passionate about his faith and family. He has had the opportunity to preach and teach in Africa, Mexico, and throughout the U.S.

Brayden Schlabach

Brayden Schlabach began serving as a full-time evangelist with the West Main church of Christ in October 2025. Before this, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and spent several years working as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, helping families steward their resources and plan wisely for the future.

While grateful for that work, preaching the gospel had been on his heart since his late teenage years. As opportunities to teach and speak publicly continued to arise, his desire to devote himself fully to ministry steadily deepened. When the opportunity came to serve at West Main, he and his wife, Ally, stepped forward together in faith.

Brayden and Ally were married in August 2022 and are thankful to be raising their growing family together and among God’s people.

Brayden is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as a minister of Christ. Throughout his Christian life, he has especially cherished leading God’s people in song, a role that has shaped both his heart for worship and his preaching. He longs to help the church worship with understanding and sincerity — not only singing truth, but being shaped by it, and offering their lives fully to the Lord. With clarity and conviction, he seeks to teach God’s Word in a way that encourages steady spiritual growth and faithful obedience. He considers it a privilege to labor alongside this congregation as they worship, serve, and press on toward heaven together.
